The Bottleworks is working in close partnership with the church
of St. Paul’s Seaton Sluice to:
Engage
and enrich the immediate community with a meeting space which
crosses barriers of age and ability.
Provide training and employment for people with learning needs
through a fair trade coffee shop
Create a selling gallery for sales of local art and crafts
Promote
a space for personal reflection in an atmosphere of comfort
and assurance.
Provide a facility for educational, environmental and church
groups for training and relaxation
Provide a stopping off point for visitors and tourists (especially
cyclists and walkers), giving them both a place of refreshment
and a point of access to history, Christianity, points of interest,
nature and art
Restructure the church building in such a way as to bring spiritual
and cultural inspiration & make it multipurpose, giving
flexible space for exhibitions of local art, other community
uses and church services.
Make the church and its facilities open and accessible to all
